It’s interesting that we no longer see updates about improvements in detection and remediation being shared. It makes you wonder whether those capabilities are still advancing, or if that information is simply no longer being disclosed publicly.

  • Onboarding scan progress now distinguishes between a preparation phase and an active scan phase, making it clearer what the product is doing during your first scan
  • The Help page and Tray menu now show simplified version information
Issues Fixed

  • Improved usability of the Startup Application list and resolved an issue with application detection
  • Resolved an issue preventing the renewal payment notification from being displayed

  • Added a "Don't show again" option on Trusted Advisor and Scan Reminder notifications, giving you more control over which notifications you see
  • Some low priority notifications are no longer shown again after being replaced by a higher priority notification
  • Removed some low priority Spotlight items
  • Renamed the "Take action" button to "Protect my identity" in the Digital Footprint scan results, to make the next step clearer

  • Fixed an issue where progress updates were not displayed correctly when restoring items from quarantine

What I’m most concerned about is that after reading all these updates, none mention any changes to the detection and remediation engines like they used to list in the change logs. I’m curious why they stopped including that are they still making detection improvements? I know they’re enhancing the browser guard’s detection, but it’s never actually stated in the change logs or products anymore. Maybe I’ll ask around about it.
