In the next hours, we will create a dedicated AI-Powered forum where you can test @Bot. To avoid creating unwanted content in the forum, these threads won't show up in the New/Latest threads.

Also, I'll disable the auto-reply feature for most forums because it is not really needed. You're all very good at helping members so there's no need for @Bot. @Bot will still be able to reply if it can add more context or if no reply was created after a certain period.

I've also added a disclaimer for AI tech - About @Bot - AI Powered Assistant . You can easily go to this page by clicking the robot icon on @Bot's info.

The problem is tech developers love to just slap AI everywhere for marketing reasons. A washing machine that monitors which cycles you use and at which times may at these times suggest that you activate these cycles. It's merely a timetable/log but Samsung calls it AI. ChatGPT is more of a supervised machine learning and not so much AI. You can see that any context you input barely and temporarily changes the output response. There is not much of "self learning" to call it a true AI. We are far away from these times.

ChatGPT like plethora of other technologies appeared out of nowhere recently and started to make sheer number of headlines. It is definitely interesting for geeks and useful in a way. But don’t kid yourself, it won’t be extremely long before its various limitations, such as inability to limit it to a certain professional scope, tendency to “add” information from itself based on correlation and assumptions, inability to deliver up-to-date information and many others will get more and more obvious.

ChatGPT is not the solution that will phase humans out. It is mostly useful to programmers at this stage as there it can not add any assumptions.

I've created the AI-Powered Dedicated Forum forum so that you can try @Bot AI-powered by ChatGPT. You can start a new thread or reply in the thread I created. The threads and replies won't show in the New or Recent posts to avoid unnecessary clutter.
@Bot is, for now, disabled for most forums though it can reply if certain conditions are present.

I've changed the set of rules for @Bot to more strict ones so the replies should be much better...

Yes. We are just seeing the beginning, this can change our entire world... it's like you've said.. the PC AND the Internet. Most companies will use this API in their software and a lot of people will lose their job.

No. @nasdaq is using advanced tools and is helping members with serious infections. @Bot can't perform yet this type of specialized work.
