Cannot tell yet; just installed a couple of hours ago.

Is just the update available as in previous years rather than the full ISO ??

As I can restore images, I tried to do the update but 'Get the latest updates' was greyed out, & controlled by my organization (me) after much faffing & going into policy editor etc & much much more I still could not sort it, this took quite a while last night & never did solve it - So in the end I looked at some older images & found an image a couple of months back where latest updates was not greyed out so restored this & did updates & other changes as there was quite a few, this took an hour+ or so this morning, (but for me far faster than a reinstall) But still cant get the update!

However when trying to log on here I had stupidly made the 2FA with MT as a Windows Hello which was gone, so had to beg @Jack to re-able me, (this did not come cheap!) However the update is not available for me yet, the moral of the story is for me images are a great idea & don't use Windows Hello for 2FA on MT. @Jack kindly re-enabled my login at a reduced cost after while)

So we know who has installed that preview.

So we know who has installed that preview.

Are you sure? Because I never installed that preview, but I did install 26H2 this morning.

I have no idea. But now I will make things more confusing, I disabled 'get the latest updates when available' somewhere in the last half of 2025. So I should not have gotten the option to install the preview, but it was there nonetheless. I simply paused all updates untill today, so the preview was never installed.

Yes same here, but as I read the latest updates has to be unchecked to get 26H2, so it seems they are not connected? Out of interest I installed the preview & still can't get 26H2, so they are not connected, now imaging back

When the option "Get the latest updates" is disabled , the visible previews does not get installed.

I am of the opinion that there is no connection between the 26H2 update and the preview update. The preview update is still available for download on my system after I installed the 26H2 update.

Hmm... could it be that the preview update is already implementing the changes I only received with the 26H2 update? Check if you can position the taskbar freely.
