After installation of the new Edge (Chromium), the old Edge is being replaced. It is normal behavior. After installing this stable version, I can't find the old Edge in start menu. Even my pinned shortcut is removed. It's present here of course: "C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe" but there's only the new Edge in start menu.
Didn't happen the last time I installed the Beta version. I could use both. But this time it happened after installing the stable. After installation of the new Edge (Chromium), the old Edge is being replaced. It is normal behavior.
I see, ok.Yes, it only happens with the stable version. Forgot to mention this in my previous post.
It doesn't remove the old Edge but makes it invisible to the naked eyesOn page 1 they said already, when you install Edge stable it removes old edge
Cause if you remove Edge Chromium, the Legacy Edge is recovered. It doesn't remove the old Edge but makes it invisible to the naked eyes

Yep, notices the same thing, there not completely the same. Keep reporting those issues.Although they are in the same build I only get the rendering errors I mention in my previous post in the final version.
Thanks for update notice.Got a new update to version 79.0.309.7 today.
Doesn't fix the rendering problems I have on some sites unfortunately.
No I haven't, great idea, just reported them to MS.Thanks for update notice.
Um, have you shared "some sites" in this thread?
I see no difference in all 3 browsers (stable, dev and Google chrome), they are all the same font size.No I haven't, great idea, just reported them to MS.
An example is this site: AskVG - Windows Tips, Troubleshooting and Customization
Fonts are a lot smaller when displayed in Stable, no such problem with Beta, Dev or Google Chrome stable.
Hope other members can confirm this with Stable?
