Serious Discussion Microsoft Edge Stable (Chromium) Now Available for Download

On last update Edge informed me there had been inadvertent changes :rolleyes: which it kindly restored back to Bing, in reality it was I that changed from Bing search to another, thank you MS for making sure I use only Bing, added to that MS almost hide the search engine choices, well they are buried away somewhat, of course I did change it back but it shows keeping an eye on Edge is important though I use it infrequently.

It acts like an AV which prevents the naive user from hurting himself.

I just noticed that Microsoft Edge now allows location access by default, even though the settings say, “Ask before accessing.” I found out that all websites can access my location. Is this something new? It’s strange because, unlike Edge, my Brave and Vivaldi browsers still ask for permission before accessing my location.
