I’m currently experiencing this issue with the Brave browser; I think it’s related to ChromiumFacing the stupid bug of Edge automatically logging out of google.com.
No other site gets logged out; only google and as a result, gemini.google.com too.
But YouTube, which uses the google cookie doesn't get logged out.
The feature to auto delete cookies on browser exit is not turned on. So I don't know from where is this bug coming from.
I think I faced this once before a while ago. On Reddit, some users have been reporting this issue since at least 2023 until now.
At the moment, I'm not willing to create a new profile for testing if that fixes this nonsense bug.
Installed and using Brave in the meantime.

Mcafee Webadvisor, Osprey and DeeplWhat!!! Damn! Is Google logging users out if it's not Chrome?Surely this is unintended but what an odd bug!
Do you mind sharing your active extensions? What do you use?
We have McAfee WebAdvisor in common but I know it's not related because I even tested by disabling all extensions except AdGuard on Edge.Mcafee Webadvisor, Osprey and Deepl

So I guess I was premature to blame Edge. Something seems to be wrong on google's side. Hope it gets resolved soon.People on Reddit are reporting the same issue but with Helium browser.

Yeah it has some. It enabled Startup Boost again a few days ago and I also saw my third-party cookie blocking option was disabled. I can't remember if for some reason I temporarily enabled it or not.Edge has plenty of issues to be blamed for![]()

This is strange; I checked yesterday and all my accounts are still logged in.I tried creating a new profile but it doesn't help. Still getting logged of google.
