Microsoft has announced it will bring Xbox mode to Windows 11 PCs, laptops, and tablets starting in April, rolling out first to users in select markets. The company confirmed the feature in a post from Jason Ronald, Vice President of Next Generation, outlining its gaming plans.
Xbox mode delivers what Microsoft describes as a "controller-optimized experience" with a distraction-free interface designed to keep users in a gaming context. Users can switch back to the standard Windows desktop at any time.
