I'm happy that I switched to Vivaldi before this, can't be happier, as Vivaldi said: "Get away from Big Tech and have fun doing it".

Yuuuup. As much as I like Firefox, and I do a lot, it seems like staying with anything gecko-based is like living in denial. There's no money in it for them, and 99.9% percent of sites are coded for the Chromium engine specifically. I like Vivaldi; it seems like it's as close to the customization of Firefox (Zen) as I can get while using the Chromium engine.

In my opinion, that's a bad move. I did the opposite. Firefox let's you customize everything you want, staring from UI to how the browser itself works. Firefox is really 100% customizable unlike any other Chromium browser out there.

Don't like Mozilla data policy? Just turn data collectio off and you're good.
Don't like Firefox looks the way it looks? Create your own userChrome.css and make your own design of the browser. Or use one of the hundreds already made designs.
Don't like how the browser works? User.js file is your best friend.

Brave and Chromium is stuck with predefined settings, flags and that's pretty much it.
Thank you for your suggestion. Currently I'm using Vivaldi .

I assume that Mozilla has changed its Terms of Use, due to money $, I used to receive a lot of emails from Mozilla asking for donates against TikTok and other companies, which according to Mozilla was fighting to preserve "privacy". As they didn't receive many donates or perhaps any donates at all, it seems that they got angry and decided to change their terms of use and collect our data. Google already pays millions of dollars to Mozilla to keep the google search engine as the default on firefox, but I guess that wasn't enough for mozilla. That's just my humble opinion.

Mozilla didn't change their business strategy. They just changed wording in their legal documents to be compatible with laws worldwide. A lot of dust was raised regarding "sell" terminology which in some countries means to exchange something for money, while in others it also means a simple transfer from one to another place.

Mozilla was in fact very clear and transparent about it.

Could you please guide me?
There are many, many things you can do, but they require some research to find various user.chrome tweaks.
Here's a pre-built Nord theme for Firefox that I use.

Honestly, I don't mind as long as Mozilla lets me disable any kind of data collection. If it didn't let me do that, then we would have a problem. I hate all kinds of telemetry equally, and whenever I can it's the first thing I turn off, no matter how much I like the product. If there's a way to make a product more private, I'd do it.
