Which one has better extensions/add-ons? I heard that adblock plus on firefox is much better than google chrome and the same goes for many other extensions, does this remain true?

Firefox addons are simply more powerful/better. Im pretty sure most would agree with this statement!

@Moose Do you the Maxthon Cloud Services? What are they like and their usefulness?

i do use it; it is very useful to me; i can sync my "speed dials" (built-in feature), bookmarks, settings ; also i can upload softwares/webpages/medias i previously downloaded in the cloud.

Example: i download 7zip.exe with maxthon on PC1 and i checked "auto upload to the cloud" , so after the download, 7zip is uploaded to the cloud of my account (called "passport") then i can retrieve it with maxthon on PC2.

you upload only what you WANT and "normally" they shouldn't be able to inspect my cloud (but even if they do, i gently share with them my porn movie collection)

Tried Maxthon today. It's good. Quite fast.
The real problem is addons.
AdBlock Plus, Ghostery and Sticky Password are my basic needs when it comes to browsing and sadly Maxthon supports none.
(There are other addons too. But I can live without them)
Even then I'll keep it. The cloud download comes handy. Realised it first-hand on UC Browser.

As of now, for me Firefox rules.

It's interesting, I'm intrigued with Maxthon cloud. I guess it's cloud is free?

As for the OP I would prefer GC to FF as it's safer.
