Surely it's as and when they find the site, or it's reported?

You can't expect them to be blocking them within hours of them popping up?
They should have listed the site as "gray" on safe web AKA "unknown" but labeling it safe is defiantly not correct. By doing so they are essentially telling the user that they already examined the site and it's clean which is false.

The extension Norton safe web has changed the url it used to detect malicious websites. All traffic is now going to urlite.ff.avast.com and no longer to Norton. The protection rate drops severly in my tests. Last year Norton was top 3. The results for January are very poor (close to the bottom).

Symantec extension is far better in my tests try it instead
