I am using Office 365. I see on other sites that after every possible solution people can think of the Looksafe Yahoo search remain.

Haha, stupid Yahoo :D

Glad we did it :)

The following will implement some post-cleanup procedures:

=> Please download DelFix by Xplode to your Desktop.

Run the tool and check the following boxes below;

Remove disinfection tools

Create registry backup
checkmark.png
Purge System Restore

Click Run button and wait a few seconds for the programme completes his work.
At this point all the tools we used here should be gone. Tool will create an report for you (C:\DelFix.txt)

The tool will also record healthy state of registry and make a backup using ERUNT program in %windir%\ERUNT\DelFix
Tool deletes old system restore points and create a fresh system restore point after cleaning.

The problem is back. After doing a search I was asked if I rather want to search with google.com than google.ca. I said yes - and the search went back to Yahoo. I went to setting to change the search engine back to google.ca - but that didn't help.

Seems to be OK now. As soon as I opened Chrome - it wanted to know if i want to go with google.com instead of google.ca ( I have set my default to google.ca).This time I stayed with .ca. Last time i went with .com the yahoo research results re-appeared.
