Opera, ok, interresting. Why should i use it instead of any other chromium browser?

Why should i use it instead of any other chromium browser?

Well, it's a lot like clothes or shoes--you try it, and if you like it, you "buy" it. It's a nice browser, it's very fast and customizable (you can eliminate that nasty and redundant search box running across your homepage, unlike Edge). The UI is very user-friendly and it has nice features like the browser snapshot one that is superior to any others I've tried so far.

Some don't like that it's Chinese-owned. It also makes it clear it collects user data but then, so does practically everything else.

I used to run it but switched to Firefox for better stability and usage w/uBlock Origin and Sandboxie. Good thing there are still plenty of choices out there and you can change your mind at any time.

Naah, instead? Can't you simply use it alongside? At least until your more sure if you want to keep it around or not.

Personal I also use Edge, but mainly Opera. Extra now when it seems to finally fixed the previous annoying Youtube ad issue.

I` ll quote myself on this.
I found a reason for using Opera, it is faster (at least for me) then Brave and Edge. Huh, go figure. A drawback is that the showing of bookmarks is either on - or off, no showing only when hovering and that the ad-blocker is limited in usage, but there are workarounds for that. Overall, pleasent surprise.
