Because:
- it is a unbearably buggy even after the bug was mentioned 6+ years ago.
- they keep adding useless features.
- HIPS are obsolete.
- the AV only detect smoke.
- they sell certificates to anybody.

The list is long :D

Ask yourself, "why most advanced/knoweldgeable members in MT don't use it?" :p
It is not really that bad but it definitely has some issues.
For me it was constantly blocking Skype even if I told CIS to unblock it after few days the same issue appeared.
Regarding to their AV - I am wondering why in the world they keep it in CIS while they have cloud AV and Valkyrie which they should incorporate in CIS instead of old fashioned low quality signature based one.
And their TVL is ridiculously long - their should remove like 99% of the vendors from the list and just leave the crucial ones, but from the "average user" point of view I can understand why it is so long - to reduce the amount of alerts.
For the rest is was running really smooth and light and I was really enjoying it but there are some softwares which I can't simply go without and VS and HMP.A are few of them so I simply reverted back to my old setup :p

Removed: Comodo Internet Security, uBlock Origin
Added: VoodooShield Pro, HitmanPro, HitmanPro.Alert, Heimdal Pro, Adguard Premium
Awesome brother, but you could remove Hemidal as it's not necessary.
I know you probably like it so leave it if you must,
but I like that you went with that config, its very light isn't it :)

I like Heimdal a lot and it's really light so I'll leave it.
And you're absolutely right mate - this config is really light but CIS wasn't heavy too ;)

Probably the same set of reason people use different products in general.

hahahaha i started using Comodo when it was barely a simple FW with a good HIPS (v3-4) all the way down v10; and indeed the auto-sandbox is good but it is far from being the best...I have better results and protection with any SRP softs.
