Patch My PC Home Updater Overview​

Our Home Updater is a free, easy-to-use program that keeps over 300 applications up-to-date on your computer. It is an easy way to update or install a large list of programs on to your computer.
A key component of staying safe online is keeping your computer up-to-date. Hackers love targeting outdated software. Outdated software often contains security vulnerabilities, bugs, and other issues that are often resolved in the latest version. These are some of the reasons why it’s essential to keep the apps updated (or “patched”).
When you open Patch My PC Updater, it will scan your system for outdated programs.

• Outdated programs will be shown in – Red
• Updated programs will be shown in – Green
• Not-installed programs will be shown in – Black

All I use these days is Patch My PC and winget. If there is an update, they just download and install, no need to look for it manually.

Does it work for non english speak users? Last time I used it overwrote my localized software with english versions.

I do like to have everything categorized in groups and I really hate long lists. Sad update.

@Kongo and @Digmor Crusher CCleaner Pro did not detect the new update for Driver Easy Pro which is 5.8.0.17776 – Release Date: 2023.03.13.

If you're referring to PatchMyPC, they have a list of applications they're unable to add to their updater and the reason why. Their reasoning for Spotify being:

Today, I saw "OpenVPN 2.6.2-I001 amd64" in the list of programs that patch-my-pc mentioned it will update. I let it update. I hope it was ok?
I don't have an AMD CPU? So why is that? I only have installed three different VPN application in my Windows.

Sure it wasn't "arm64" instead of "amd64"?
Generally VPN providers update their OpenVPN instance when updating their applications, but if the associated VPN continues to work without issue I assume it's okay that it updated independently.
