All you need to do is turn off animation and disable services. Animation like sliding menus. It's in Settings somewhere ( I am not on Windows now, so I can't tell you where) And then turn off any service that hints of talking to a server ( because you don't have that server ) Read the service description. And then look for services that says 'Remote', you don't want those either. And turn off useless networking things like SSDP, TCP NetBIOS Helper and IPSec ( ipsec encryption needs setup on both ends before it works) . And you can turn off Server and Workstation as well. There are lots more useless things, just read the service description on the left. If you are unsure about an item, just set it to Manual Start and Stop it and write it down and test out Settings, see anything goes wrong. Then if all is ok, and they haven't started again because you triggered them to, change those Manual Start items to Disabled.
I don't pay for stupid utilities that does things that I can do myself.
