Serious Discussion Pissed with Malwarebytes and its advertisements in premium products.

All antivirus do it, it doesn't shock me at all :)
Whether it's Avast, Avira, Kaspersky, Bitdefender etc... all AVs push you to get options you don't need.
That's marketing :)

Most companies make you put forward an email, and there is no reason they can not push these type things through a friendly email.
Like the friendly emails that I was getting from Panda every single day (fortunately in the junk folder) for months that “protection has expired”. Till I blocked the sender. 😀
Similar emails from K7.

There is one company that I know of that what you pay for, is what you get. No nag screens, no in your face upgrade options, is F-Secure.
This isn't their current version, as I didn't want to reinstall IS or Total to make the point, but...
Also, if I remember, there was only one box to (un)check to not receive any offers, which I never did get one of.

Yeah, it's sad that even despite you having the paid version, it still bothers you to get the VPN. It's really not that common for a paid program to still nag you, I would dump it.

Best thing I did was buying AVG Internet Security for 2€. Top protection, the system runs faster and smoother than with Windows Defender. No interruptions, no annoyances whatsoever. You don't even know it's there.
Even the free version wouldn't be nearly as bad as this, as it basically doesn't bother you.

I dont even think some staff members agree with what's been added to the product they have been silent silent on the issue and that speaks volumes.
