This is my config . Before Eset Antivirus i used KIS .

Enable UAC, add a on demand scanner "second opinion", and some sort of back is always essential.

As illumination is saying UAC must be enabled. Having ESET AV + the build in Win 8 security seems to be a reasonable setup.
However having a second opinion AV and some AS would not be bad at all.
Add some backup to it and some common sense and you are well set.

Looks good except UAC , 2nd opinon scanner and backup as suggested above . You can choose the free tools from this thread , see #14 and #23.

CCleaner is enough for everything (you can try CEnhancer )
