App Review Ransom vs. ZoneAlarm/Norton/McAFEE, McAlex, F4z, test safegroup.pl

It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.

The best protection against ransomware is yourself since many will pass right by detection of most AV's.

Ransomware does not download and install itself automatically, the user has the control over downloading and installing. If you let yourself get tricked into downloading and installing a malicious file, it makes no difference what AV you use, you will get infected since many go undetected for awhile before signatures get created, most are zero-days.

Simply don't download unknown files and you won't have any problems with ransomware. Then you won't have to worry if your AV detects them or not since you won't be downloading them.

Thanks.:D
