I don't think Kaspersky being 9th matters at all. Out of 100%, it failed only against 1.3% of the malicious files, plus it only misdetected one file (FP). This means 3 files out of 237 were undetected. If you configure Application Control correctly (one of Kaspersky's strongest points), that number will drop to 0.
comss.ru test is over 10 years old.Plus the comsru test was conducted with 3600 files. kaspersky was outperformed by Norton, AVG, Avast, Symantec, Emsisoft.

Thanks for sharing this info about Avast.I can't say I ever came across a file false positive only once it flagged a relatively new application as suspicious but it was understandable as it messed with policies and registry values.
