This test shows how an antivirus behaves with certain threats, in a specific environment and under certain conditions.
We encourage you to compare these results with others and take informed decisions on what security products to use.
Before buying an antivirus you should consider factors such as price, ease of use, compatibility, and support. Installing a free trial version allows an antivirus to be tested in everyday use before purchase.
Kaspersky isn't 9th its a highest rated software in test.
kaspersky is behind Avast, AVG, Norton, Avira, Bitdefender, F-Secure, G-Data and McAfee in this test. Several antiviruses beat kaspersky in ComssRU test too. CommsRU is very reliable source maybe the best.Kaspersky isn't 9th its a highest rated software in test.

I don't think Kaspersky being 9th matters at all. Out of 100%, it failed only against 1.3% of the malicious files, plus it only misdetected one file (FP). This means 3 files out of 237 were undetected. If you configure Application Control correctly (one of Kaspersky's strongest points), that number will drop to 0.
comss.ru test is over 10 years old.Plus the comsru test was conducted with 3600 files. kaspersky was outperformed by Norton, AVG, Avast, Symantec, Emsisoft.
