Oh, I didn't know there was a free version. What is the difference between the free and paid version? Here's the download link of NVTERP free: http://downloads.novirusthanks.org/files/EXERadar_Pro_x86_x64_v3.1_14012015_BUILD1.exe
Added NVT Exe Radar Pro and I changed UAC to Always Notify.
I like it. There is nothing else that I know of that would be worth adding. Might switch from Bitdefender if I find a better free/paid alternative. My current license cost me pretty much nothing.Really great configuration you got there.
The latest version (v3.1) of NVTERP is a freeware though it's still in beta I believe. The paid version (v3.0) is the stable one.Oh, I didn't know there was a free version. What is the difference between the free and paid version?
Great change.@rigorAdded NVT Exe Radar Pro and I changed UAC to Always Notify.
ESET Smart Security with NVTERP great combo and Kaspersky IS would be my first choice. So now I need recommendations on a new anti-virus/internet-security because I can't trust Bitdefender now.
1.RealVNC:-Although a bit difficult to configure the network getting started with your remote connection, RealVNC offers the reliability and features like encryption, collaboration tools and chat features to make sure that your remote connection bodes well for the person on the other end of it.Software alternatives to teamviewer
I know. It was stupid of me to disable it. I was installing something and NVRT was blocking it and I wasn't able to whitelist it. So I went ahead and disabled it and forgot to re-enable it. Still pissed Bitdefender couldn't stop the infection.Having anti-exe like NVRT may totally save from worst case scenario.
It's fine. They didn't get anything, just wasting my time on a new windows install. I will keep using NVTER and Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit, still not sure about AV/IS. Will check out Avast like you said.@rigorGood luck sorry about you getting hijacked
Nope, never been infected before today.@rigor Have you ever had any PUP/adware infection when using Bitdefender? I found it not really good on this side
