Well this is bullshit. I just got hacked via teamviewer... Even though I have 2FA and Windows was locked at the time... Bad thing is that it got past Bitdefender with maxed settings. (NVTERP was disabled by me before). So now I need recommendations on a new anti-virus/internet-security because I can't trust Bitdefender now. When I got to my PC it was full of all kinds of viruses and malware.. Luckily I wasn't signed into paypal and stuff. Software alternatives to teamviewer would be a big help. (Writing all this from my phone, gonna try and get some sleep before I have to fix all this #####)

ESET Smart Security with NVTERP great combo and Kaspersky IS would be my first choice.
Software alternatives to teamviewer
1.RealVNC:-Although a bit difficult to configure the network getting started with your remote connection, RealVNC offers the reliability and features like encryption, collaboration tools and chat features to make sure that your remote connection bodes well for the person on the other end of it.
2.AMMYY Adminn:-Leaves behind a shorter footprint when it comes to software requirements. The tool is pretty nifty and very low data consuming one which gets professional remote desktop accessing features for free.

Having anti-exe like NVRT may totally save from worst case scenario.
I know. It was stupid of me to disable it. I was installing something and NVRT was blocking it and I wasn't able to whitelist it. So I went ahead and disabled it and forgot to re-enable it. Still pissed Bitdefender couldn't stop the infection.

Anyone know where I can find my NVTER license? I bought it yesterday, thought I activated it but now it is asking me for license and email. I can't find the key in any email I got from them and as far as I can see there are no accounts on their website. Do I really have to contact support and wait 24-48 hours to get the program working again?
