Samsung today announced a new series of microSD cards optimized for surveillance and dashboard cameras. The PRO Endurance lineup offers durable, high-capacity memory cards that can operate up to 16 years of continuous recording and playback to capture every critical moment.

Samsung says the new microSD cards are perfect for surveillance, dashboard, doorbell, body cameras, and other devices that operate non-stop in harsh conditions. The company uses enterprise-grade NAND flash memory to achieve up to 140,160 hours of continuous recording time (this value gets lower as you go from the highest capacity to lower options) while withstanding water, magnets, X-rays, extreme temperatures, wearing-out, and drops.

The PRO Endurance microSD cards are rated Class 10 with up to 100MB/s read and 40MB/s write speeds, which is more than enough for seamlessly handling video files in FullHD and 4K.
