Most of these marketed 'Secure browsers' by security vendors are a scam.

A browser platform used to further sell you (and your data) with more vendor software.

For the sake of simplicity, here's my view:
  1. Clones Chromium
  2. Re-brands with their companies name + Secure + fancy Logo
  3. Infiltrates browser with baked-in vendor-created extensions, and some re-named free and open-source software
  4. Bundles with their security software
  5. Vendor-created extensions cannot be removed, only disabled
  6. Vendor-created extensions require additional software that runs outside of the browser
  7. Software requires a paid license for full-functionality
  8. Turning off vendor-created extension will throw a warning to the User that their data is at risk!
  9. Browser updates are delayed due to extra time required
  10. Vendor-created extensions may be flawed that expose you, or your data!
  11. Vendor clones a Dev or Beta branch of Chromium to test experimental features
  12. Vendor abandons project leaving Users vulnerable with flawed extensions and browser [Worst-case Scenario]

Feel free to add your thoughts, or criticise with the above points.

TAKEAWAY: By using an up-to-date version of Chrome, Edge or Firefox you are far more secure.

Sharing as an example, but can apply to any vendor.

No one is even vetting these browsers.
And when they do, oh boy...
