What I'm looking for?

Looking for medium feedback.

Xiaomi has improved its update support.
The 17 series is announced with 5 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates.
Patches are released quarterly, just like Honor ;)
Only for rich customers with flagship phones

Pretty sure if Apple and Samsung would make a phone in that tight budget it won't have anything much longer and even if it would the hardware inside it won't be able to keep up with it. Btw Congrats @Shadowra !
Samsung has change its policy lately for entry level phones; the one I have got for dad months ago is an entry level with 6 years support; trying to regain a market share after dominance of Chinese brands of entry level.

With their Exynos chips they are going to get reduced to a crawl even if the hardware survives for 6 years. Plus having a top down pricing software updates supports Samsung more than Chinese makers. Always buy budget samsung with Mediatek if not Snapdragon.

Nothing beats 1Password. When it comes to attention to detail, small quality-of-life features, and their security model, they in a league of their own. Everyone else is just playing catch-up, and I say this with proof. nice choice of password manager the best out there.

So you disabled scanning with Xiaomi's security app which uses Avast signatures I think, and installed Kaspersky correct? It's easy to disable the Xiaomi security app?

Can't find the below mentioned in your setup

Q1

Did you enable Advanced Protection Mode in Android 16?

Advanced Protection Mode in Android 16 is a security feature designed to enhance protection for at-risk users by enabling certain security settings by default and disabling others that could pose risks.

Q2

Did you take advantage in some Android Developers Options settings like 'Select mock location app' and 'Disable screen share protections'?

Q3

Did you maximise the settings under 'Security and Privacy'? Like using App Lock, Hide Apps, Secure Folder etc

Q4

Did you check the permissions given to each app especially for location, camera and microphone? Allowing these unnecessarily will allow tracking of your location. Similalry, disabling for WiFi and Bluetooth scanning.
