Same problem was here. When I use the Kaspersky my fps is less, and when I play with Cold War i have the big fps drop. Uninstall Kaspersky, downloading again the shaders in game= problem solved. Kaspersky is best protection, but not good for operating system and not good for gaming yet. Too many drivers use, sits on the system, and etc, and Kaspersky have too many unnecessary protection component. I love the Russian product, but the road is not good what they are going for.

After reading your comment made me think between Bitdefender Total Security or Kaspersky. The BTS on my machine makes browsing very fast and hardly bothersome at all, the only thing is that I'm left without Kaspersky's Application Control module.

ESET Nod32 and Voodooshield
Uninstall Kaspersky ( slowdown in game, especially on Call of Duty )

By the way, why can't use the F-Secure SAFE?

I don't have a license for F-Secure, and I don't know if Avira's Heur/APC detects at copy or only at runtime like Avira

EDIT : I installed F-Secure to test, Heur/APC works
