A new version of Rollback Rx was released a couple of days ago, i think they fixed quite a lot of bugs.

Indeed, there is a new version with few fixes, the main build version is same/no change i.e 10.5

Is the time taken to complete the restore same/different withinWindows/recovery envir?

I don't see a difference in time. if you start in windows environment, it boots you into the recovery environment, and it starts up for you the particular recovery job that you chose. Just a matter of convenience, really. Once it actually starts, it is the same process
