Hi all, I have a Nokia 7 Plus - Wikipedia bought it two years ago.
I got Amazon.com: [2-Pack] Dmax Armor for Nokia 7 Plus [Tempered Glass] Screen Protector, (Full Screen Coverage) (Black) a year ago and installed one of the two screen protectors.

I only left one screen protector. And also, my phone doesn't have a screen protector.
Should I install a tempered glass screen protector on my 2-year-old Nokia phone?

And if yes, should I let the specialist do this, or can I do this by watching some Youtube tutorials?

I've got a crappy old phone myself but I suggest getting it done professionally that way they're to blame if it goes wrong :)

If you can get it done by a professional without having to pay a fee, I say go for it.

For the future: When purchasing screen protectors for phones, I always make sure that it comes with an alignment tray/frame. The tray/frame makes installing screen protectors very easy and quick, especially if you have shaky hands like I do.

Yes, and if you can do it by yourself.

A suitable case and tempered glass screen protector are the first accessories anyone should buy for their smartphone.

Avoid cheaper plastic cases and films, as they provide little or no protection against drops and scratches.

In my line of work tempered glass has saved a lot of our devices out in various areas of my place of employment. My phone will not seem 'right' until I have a piece of tempered glass over the screen. I go for the 9h which is the hardness of that glass. Glass is overall pretty light, but I can see that some folks think or feel as though it is heavy. I do agree with what others have said - get one that has the alignment tray and you'd be fine. Glass isn't super crazy expensive at all in my humble opinion. Beats having to get a new screen - I'll say that much!

I wouldn't bother. I installed one on my Nokia 6.1, and it made an already heavy phone even heavier.
Buy a smaller, lighter phone next time.

Thanks, everyone, for your wisdom and encouragement.
Like others said, I never use phone without protective glass and solid case. Never done by some specialist, I always do it myself. And I always use glasses from AliExpress. You folks may find it surprising but I installed protective glasses and cases from AliExpress on over 10 phones during the last few years and all of them are still working just fine :) I also advise you to always order more than one glass from AliExpress in case some of them don't arrive, you break it etc...
