On Windows 8.1 Enterprise x64 and Windows 10 2016 LTSB x64:

svchost.exe is a just one example; henrypp doesn't consider multiple, duplicate alerts even though an allowed rule already exist for it a bug - the "workaround" is just to disable notifications for svchost.exe

Don't know what to tell ya. It's been reported since day one by multiple users.

I can reproduce it every single time just by installing Simplewall on W10.

Also have it even with allowed rules when you told me that only block rules show duplicate alerts. He just fixed the duplicate alert issues for blocked alerts now with a setting (haven't tested it) but still the issue should remain for allowed programs.

Yes, it's known bug where notifications configuration for "system" and "svchost.exe" will resets. It fixable (when i found problem in 8k code)

Installed SW 2.0.20 x64 on Win 10 x64 fall creators
Enabled "load on system startup"
I see in task manager that simplewall.exe is running, I do not see any service running.
SW is silent (whitelist mode).
System tray icon is gray, if that means anything.
Windows Control Panel tells me that Windows Firewall is running, and it does not see any other firewall.

security config: Windows Defender default settings, AppGuard protected mode, ReHIPS standard mode

You have to install filters. The button on the down left side of the app. If you have done that and it still don't work, uninstall and reinstall filters, maybe it'll help.
