After the latest update, you can set up Passkeys from your account under Password and Security.
Passkeys let you sign in using your device’s built-in authentication (like fingerprint, face ID, or PIN) instead of a password, making login both faster and more secure.
The implementation of Passkeys was one of the things I liked the most. I always prioritize security first, and everything else comes after that. (y)
There are other new features included in this update, which I’ll announce soon — but since Passkeys were a community request, we wanted to highlight this first.
BTW, thank you very much for implementing Passkeys and the new MT layout. It gave the forum a modern touch. I was even surprised when I logged in here yesterday and saw that MT had a new look. @Jack, overall, congratulations on the excellent work you have been doing here at MT. I appreciate it.. ;)

@Jack I got one email notification from someone I follow even though I have email notifications unchecked. It's weird, because I got only this one email.

Dear @Jack,

Sorry to direct message you, but I could not find a answer for my problem.

I have signed in MalwareTips using my default e-mail account on yahoo mail (@yahoo.com.br), but the confirmation e-mail never arrived. I have checked spam folder, resent e-mail etc. - no sucess.

After I changed to my alternative e-mail on Gmail, it worked. Does MalwareTips has a restriction against yahoo mail?

Best regards,

Bruno Eduardo

This UX change has brought the most bugs I can remember, but @Jack will get it ironed out at some point.
Yes. :) I fix everyhing that is reported here. The alerts for the media is just because the Media section has automatically taken some images from a thread. I will stop this behavior ,thanks for the report. :)

The main page of malwaretips.com remains difficult to navigate. Thread previews lack full textual descriptions, forcing me to hover over each link just to understand what it's about. This makes browsing unnecessarily tedious and frustrating.

Please can you fix, I cannot be the only user who is having difficulty with the new sites layout.
