It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.

github[.]com/phsoftware-corp/RogueDB siyanoav.co[.]in Even if can't detect EICAR and 3k verified malware (60+ detections on Virustotal) It first existed in 2024 like in WareDot Antivirus Rogue (currently not active) the newest executable comes from 2025 and still connects to his server to download antivirus. Virustotal Link: VirusTotal - File - 1f0847ceaa0149a4adc6aa31f5571c024ef82d4e5154e9233e99823216ee6baf There no true detection rigjht now. I looked source code and it's pretty long with no malware detection mechanism. Only payment etc.

SiyanoAV Total Security 365 day trial executable.

The poor result is not because “Blocking of unknown applications” or whatever required payment.

There are many AVs that don’t really outright block unknown applications but perform further analysis on them (more aggressively).

SiyanoAV is just one mediocre AV developed by people who barely know what they are doing, as well as as a result of very little, insignificant investment.

This AV is new but it almost does nothing.
Lots of features are not working too..maybe that's part of their design considering it's v1. Or it's really buggy and no use. Hope they improve to at least useable level.

I still love this Final Opinion comment by Shadowra. I'm not sure why anyone would ever want this tested again (unless we're really bored)? I'd rather use something with known good years of, decades of a good track history for my device, other than Bob and Frans "really good" AV 😂😂

Siyano offers a completely buggy antivirus with highly questionable choices on settings (which don't exist) and the fact that it prevents the use of the protection shield against unknown malware, which is totally unacceptable in 2025.

Edit: A person would be a lot better off in using Windows Defender.

I think I should add to cart now. Got lifetime deal in StackSocial. Too tempting! Hehe
