I do not understand how Indians & Chinese with billions of people can't make a good EDR/AV/AM yet Israelis, Romanians & Slovakian can ? Doesn't make sense!
Because We don't pay enough time and money 💰for R&D. & we use to love foreign products more but now things are slowly changing in a goodway more people are looking for homegrown softwares.Btw India has K7(K7 Enterprise Endpoint Security,K7 InfiniShield,K7 Business Security) its small but impactful company.

Yeah but with the talent (Google & Microsoft CEO are both Indian) and a billion+++ people you would think more impactful products.

K7 yeah it's improving but it's no Bitdefender or ESET who have a .0000001% of the Indian population. I find it strange that a country with so much talent has nothing much..

When I hear India, always K7 ( Keseven ) comes to my mind. The rest are just so so for me.

India has world-class human capital, but a large portion of its highest-performing technical talent historically migrated to ecosystems with better funding, compensation, research infrastructure, meritocracy, and startup support. As a result, India underperformed in creating globally dominant deep-tech and product companies relative to its population size and talent pool.
The domestic ecosystem historically failed to fully retain, fund, and convert elite talent into globally dominant product innovation.

Its all because of politics of previous govt. For 70+ years they don't set the roadmap. From 2014 we see the changes.Good things take time. We are working to stop the braindrain.
