Starting today, Qwant users in France can download a custom build of our desktop browser, with Qwant pre-set as the default search engine in the start page search bar; existing Opera users, meanwhile, now have the option to select Qwant as their default search engine for both desktop and mobile.

With Qwant pre-set as the default search engine in the start page search bar – and on Speed Dial for one-click access – you can immediately and privately jump into the best of the web. If you’re already an Opera user in France, you’ll have the option to set Qwant as your default search engine in the address bar – for both desktop and mobile – by changing your preferences in the Settings menu.
