New Update SpyShelter v15

Why so pessimistic, give it some time.
It has already had 3 years.

HIPS is dead. Nobody but security software geeks use it. They are so few in numbers that they cannot support the product financially.

The husband and wife team that purchased SpyShelter bought a dog with fleas, and then they proceeded to kill it.

If I remember correctly, the first v15 beta was released in December 2023.
The product was purchased 2 years before that. The new husband-wife team could not figure out what to do.

You can ask on the SpyShelter forum if sales are great. If they tell you the truth then they will say "No, the aren't great. Not enough to keep the software and the company alive."

Don`t worry he`s always the first to smother things in a big wet blanket of truth like some jaded cop too long on the force who can`t even look at a new born without thinking here`s just another future criminal for me to lock up.

I like his style.

Regards Eck :)

Maybe it is as you say but I still do not understand this negative approach.

It is not negative. It is a statement of fact.

As I said, reach out to SpyShelter and ask them if the sales revenue is sustainable to keep the lights on.

The DatPol developer-owners were so happy to finally find a buyer for SpyShelter because it was not worth their time and effort to develop it further or to maintain it.

I will bet you 1,000 in Euros that 5 years from now, SpyShelter will not exist.

Everybody knows HIPS as a is a dead security software genre. It was a crazy idea to purchase SpyShelter. Then for the current development team to remove the most important features sealed SpyShelter's fate.

I have a lifetime license, but I don't know what it protects in its current form. There are unnecessary, dysfunctional protection modules. When they removed the keylogger protection, it became a program I don't need to install. I think they bought the program to destroy it :)
They said they will add new features. Let's see if they can turn the program into a useful product.
I would also like to ask friends on the forum, was the program sold to the owners of the glasswire firewall program?

Hello, I don't know if the owner/s of the 2 companies is/are the same person/s but I can only say that SpyShelter is owned by Netmeetings LLC, based in Austin, Texas, (USA) What is SpyShelter.exe (SpyShelter)? 4 reasons to/NOT trust it while Glasswire was previously owned by Securemix LLC (from Crunchbase website it turns out that this company is also based in Austin, Texas (USA)). In 2022 Securemix LLC joined a partnership with Domotz Inc., a company based at Draper, Utah (USA) GlassWire partners with Domotz and in 2023 was sold to that company Domotz Announces Acquisition of GlassWire and Launches GlassWire for Business

Here are the results from Crunchbase website

Glasswire https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/glasswire

SpyShelter https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/spyshelter

So the common point is that both Securemix LLC and Netmeetings LLC are based in Austin, Texas (USA). Furthermore the physical address is the same as you can see from the Cobalt Intelligence website:

Securemix LLC Business Verification with Secretary of State via API | Cobalt Intelligence

Netmeetings LLC Business Verification with Secretary of State via API | Cobalt Intelligence

Anyway this doesn't answer to your question, unfortunately,

Netmeetings LLC and Securemix LLC were both founded and owned by the same people:

Jonathan Edwards Hundley
Wendi Hundley

Domotz is an international company originally founded in Italy.

Good for you to have 2 lifetime licenses ;) For me both softwares are too expensive for what they offer so I never considered to subscribe for them.
