I don't trust any software to store my account info. I believe written them on paper is much safer.

I myself don't like cloud password manager either...btw you may try keepass.

I've been using it for a while. It encrypts your pw on local drives,so as long as you can keep your pc in shape keepass won't trouble you. btw,you have to find proper browser extension.
