Surfshark Antivirus. anyone tested it yet ?

With recent trends such as Norton adding Norton Crypto for mining, Iobit adding iTop VPN, next logical development for Surfshark would be something like:

Surfshark PC Tune Up & Driver Updater.

Who are SurfShark ? Where are they based ?

I wouldn't install an antivirus from a company that is so secretive about its true location, or who runs the business.

For all I know its the Chinese goverment.

As for who they are: they refuse to disclose their ownership.

So they don't use Avira's cloud for their AV? Without the cloud integration, the protection quality would be worse. Or maybe the support person is not aware of this feature.

that was the specialised supporter for the AV reporting back aka i got sent higher up from the earlier support.

so they "should" know.

When I installed this latest update there appeared to be a lot of boxes flashing onscreen during installation....which was a little concerning as I don't remember seeing this on earlier up grades. Not sure if I've seen any program behave the way the latest upgrade did during installation.
I removed the Antivirus part using HiBit Uninstaller...no SurfShark antivirus service running now in the background.

I tried to disable the service and kill the process. To no avail. Finally, I used Revo. Yeah! Thanks

Just installed the latest update. Can't just remove the antivirus with an uninstall tool now...had to manually kill the antivirus services and then delete the Antivirus folder.

I just uninstalled it with Hibit worked
