The Earth is Flat!?

Personally, I do not believe that Earth is flat, but I could not prove it to the opponent - the beliefs are stronger than arguments.
Most people who think that Earth is round, believe in what other people said or reported. If the opinions from many sources are consistent, then we tend to believe in them.
So, people who believe that Earth is flat are not stupid, but simply very suspicious. Also, people who belive that Earth is round, are not automatically wiser - they are simply less suspicious to the opinions of other people (especially scientists).
But sometimes scientists can be wrong, for example:
  1. Many scientists claim that God does not exist, but in fact such statement cannot be scientifically proved/disproved.
  2. Most people believe from the school, that the right point of view is Earth moving around the Sun. But in fact, the point of view that the Sun moves around the Earth is as much good (in General Relativity).
  3. Most people think that if something is true, then it can be proved, especially in the mathematics. Unfortunately the opposite is true for most of the mathematics (Gödel's incompleteness theorems).
It is very probable to me that over 5 per 10 people could change their mind if everybody around would start claiming that the new research has proved that Earth is flat.

Twisted Bot.:alien::giggle:(y)
Ding Ding, People can think "The Invisible Pink Unicorn " Or "Flying Spaghetti Monster " is real , so its not bad, but if any one "FORECE another people to OBEY this "IDEA" its not intresting...its horrible!

What has weather to do with if something is flat or has any other shape or form? :emoji_thinking:
Probably nothing if Earth is flat. It can be significant for reliability of the calculator. So, the calculator cannot be used for proving that Earth is round. :emoji_ok_hand:
Yet, some clever flat Earth fanboy could say that the horizon effect can be similar to the fatamorgana (but in the opposite direction).:giggle:

I know. I was born in the communist country.;)

It is rare that you live on the earth and feel that the place is on a sphere.:emoji_thinking:
Only a limited number of people see their own eyes that the earth is a sphere.:emoji_thinking::emoji_thinking:
With these opinions, it is possible to claim that the earth is a flat ground. If logic or calculation can not be trusted, there is no other means than someone grips the earth with big hands.

My belly was flat but in the last two years became ROUND as a sphere and my round nice buttocks FLAT! grrr :emoji_angry:

That's scientific evidence that everything turns FLAT in time due to entropy.
EARTH IS FLAT LIKE MY BUTTOCKS!

In fact they saw a flat hamburger with changing surface.:emoji_innocent:
They did not seen the sphere. Do you see that the Moon is the sphere?
That's the weird thing. The majority of flat-earthers fully accept that all other celestial objects in our solar system are generally spherical. It's just Earth they believe is flat.

Then our planet is really an oval sphere.
There is actually a planet called Wasp-12b that orbits so close to its star that the star's gravitational field is squishing the planet into an oval shape.

The Earth is round because gravity attracts with equal intensity all directions "inward", so that the irregular surface of the planet have been slowly compacted into a sphere. ... Then our planet is really an oval sphere.:giggle:
That is not true. The scientists do not believe that Earth is a sphere. It is more like the elipsoid, so your argument must be corrected.:emoji_thinking:
