The meaning of life (just for fun) ;).

They say the meaning of life begins after 70... I'm only 28—no thanks—do not attempt to deceive youngsters into wearing a monk's robe! 😊
You do understand why they say 'youth is wasted on the young'? It's only until you reach a certain stage that your priorities and mindset change for the better.

Because lets be honest, when you put things in perspective there is really only family and religion, everything else is bull.#####.

I wish I had better insight into my own inclinations when I was younger, but if someone had told me it would be this way, I wouldn't have believed them 🤪. It is what it is. Be good to yourself and others (it would be a better slogan to say "be EXCELLENT," but being good at the moment is more attainable and, in many cases, already excellent).

Few billions of years ago there was a war between gods and one god was destroyed. The destruction of that god created the universe. Thus, the universe is nothing more but essence of that god and every particle is just perturbation of that essence. Hence on a quantum scale our brains can't grasp the quantum world; we can explain the reality by assigning math to it and that's the only way we can visualize that entity. We are nothing more but a single perturbance in space and time; they said we are made of stars I say we are made of god. Throughout time each entity created is smarter with the final goal of understanding itself. It's the essence trying to understand what it is.

Edit: in the end life requires a meaning since if there no meaning to life then that would be one sad existence. Personally, my meaning in life is to sentence as many people as I can to hell on my way to work.

In the end, I think the meaning of life isn’t just one answer, but many that weave together. For some it’s faith, for others knowledge, for others the bonds and experiences we gather along the way. What’s interesting is that, even though each perspective is different, they all point to the same thing: giving meaning to what we live.
Maybe it’s not about finding a single truth, but about recognizing that every path adds something, and that the shared search is already part of the meaning. And perhaps the most enriching part is reading how each person lives and interprets it, because in that diversity we also find part of the answer. 🌅

And maybe we can learn something from the sage advice Dorothy gave at the end of The Wizard of Oz. :)

The Tin Man: What have you learned, Dorothy? Dorothy: Well, I – I think that it – it wasn’t enough to just want to see Uncle Henry and Auntie Em – and it’s that – if I ever go looking for my heart’s desire again, I won’t look any further than my own back yard. Because if it isn’t there, I never really lost it to begin with!

Good song by George Harrison - What is Life.

In the beginning was the Word (the primordial vibration, not the Bible), the Word was with God and the Word was God. In the beginning, before the Universe, before time, before the space that the Universe occupies, infinite yet simple, pure, perfect, pure love, pure joy, pure bliss but … God was all alone. Think about that. If you are infinite, you are the only thing that there is. If there is something that is not you, other than you, you are not infinite. If you are ship wrecked on a deserted island you are alone but you know there are other people out there, there is hope of rescue. But God was truly all alone. The Love that He/She/It was had to be fulfilled, Love requires an object to share that Love with, so Life does what only Life can do, using itself, Life creates new Life, united yet separate (this makes no sense to our finite minds which are trapped in logic).

I prefer the word Creator to God, God is such a religious word, and Satan loves religion, it is the favorite weapon of the great, dark Ignorance. Each religion, or at least the vast majority, believe that theirs is "the only way", that only their scripture is the true Word of the Creator, and their man is the only true Lord; almost all religions are identical this way. If your press them for proof you are told to read their scripture and don't question it; "you have to have faith, you have to believe". Each religion can produce people who have had "visions" while on an emotion high. For me, that is not proof; I am not the one who had the vision, and I do not trust emotional highs which probably are produced by the Ego anyway. And who knows what the original words of these Masters really were. Jesus, Mohamed, Buddha, Krishna, Rama, etc., never spoke a word of English. Also, I do not trust the "inspired" men who translated these scriptures, many of them leaving out entire parts, or adding as they desired (their Egos knew what was best for the rest of us). Who can completely trust a Word of God that has been so manipulated and chopped up by Kings and politicians through the eons? And of course there is always something special about their Lord that sets him apart. He was the son of God (Christ), the Prophet of God (Mohammed), the enlightened one (Buddha), or an actual Incarnation of God (Krishna and Rama). The Creator that I believe in will not send one of His own children to eternal damnation for believing in the wrong thing for 50-60 years. Which religion you believe in depends much upon where you are born, what society is going to brainwash you into their belief system; the same Creator is everywhere, will not condemn you for being born in a non-Christian or a non-Muslin environment, whatever.

The meaning of life? One of the many great teachers who walked this earth said, “The kingdom of Heaven is within you”, he did not say, “The kingdom of Heaven is within you but you have to wait until you die to get there”.

As I go along the road of life I find the older I get it is nice to be nice, it costs nothing, I have my issues & problems in life but passing these on to others in an inappropriate way does not improve things, ever - Being pleasant, honest & trustworthy for me does pay dividends in ways it difficult to know unless you do deploy being a decent person as I have found eventually!- If I do that I to the best of my ability often I get such things back to me, usually though not always but that is who I am, & I'm not changing that stance.

I do believe there is a creator, the universe is far to organised for that not to be true, far more than my garage ever is.

“The story so far: In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.”
― Douglas Adams, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe

I am glad that life is finite and short; it allows us to fully appreciate it. Imagine the horror of immortality! sure it's fine and dandy now but billions of years from now after the heat death of the universe you will be the only entity remaining.

I agree, especially with your 2nd paragraph. I've thought the same thing too, after watching some TV episodes/movies of those who wanted to live forever. Watching everyone around you die, year after year, decade after decade, that's not for me.

The meaning to life is simple yet complex. We are here to live not exist, in living we experience and grow, evolving as we do so. This evolution biologically is the meaning of life. Down to our very cells we evolve and pass on traits and knowledge to the next generation. We have slowed this evolution to a crawl with society's restraints. Working every day just to exist instead of actually living has brought humanity to a crawl. We have barely evolved in the last 150 years with exception of convenience of technology which has actually helped with the stalled evolution process.

Live, love, learn and pass on.
