It would be interesting to harden Your system (MSE alone?), if You want to keep a light system You may pair MSE with NVT OSA and/or apply NVT SysHardener tweaks, and/or install a free antivirus Avast! Free, Kaspersky Free/Kaspersky Security Cloud Free (tweaked)... thanks for sharing
Because cent browser has memory purge feature, its much lighter than chromeMSE is unfortunately much worse than WD in Windows 10. I would recommend BD Free (my go-to recommendation) or KFA (if you want more customization).
Why Cent Browser? It's a small Chromium browser which leaves me worried regarding updates.
It makes sense then.Because cent browser has memory purge feature, its much lighter than chrome
Yeah I know it's a very light AV, but it had no cloud protection or behavior blocker the last time I checked. Is it still the case these days? Also mse is much lighter than any 3rd party av on that old laptop, i doubt hes gonna add anti-exe because he have syshardener over OSA as example, wich can do pretty much same
Well i would take the bitdefender over MSE, but im not sure how it will run....toni probably have tried thatIt makes sense then.

You are so right one more timeWell i would take the bitdefender over MSE, but im not sure how it will run....toni probably have tried that
Also about the cent , ''much lighter'' is bit incorrect but it has alot settings to play with and tweak wich makes it 'lighter'
That's a very safe habit. Also make sure to check Virus Total when running downloaded files without Shadow Defender.@Moonhorse you got me covered with your answer.
As for MSE i just want to have a light signature based av since i have safe browsing habits.
If i want to do something that's a little risky i use Shadow Defender.
Sorry to hear that@JM Security unfortunately if i add Sandboxie my browsing will be sluggish.
I have tried ReHips but again browsing was slow.
You understand now how old my laptop is.
Shadow Defender is very good, so keep it.My only option for having a sandbox is Comodo but i don't want to use it at this time because is a little buggy.
That's why i have Shadow Defender and i use on demand.
