Hmmm that would be a hard call, each of these products have their own plus and minus points which would indicate a winner on some of their options, yet both programs are tuned in such way that while firewall A versus Firewall B might be stronger the end protection received is down the line pretty much the same. Both products have a proven record, both products are used by millions of people and both products are aimed at the same market. All in all pick either one both are perfect suited to do their job.
I could spend the next 30 minutes explaining why ESET would be better, but at that same note i can spend another 30 minutes explaining that Trentmicro might be better. So lets do the short way: Both are pretty much the same in end protection. PICK one be happy and safe.
