Sure, and as i don't have (don't want) the "fabulous chromewebstore:p" Handling of extension MIME type requests are set on prompt because i manually install and update extensions

Just think, it bothers me (relatively) not to get Firefox.signed.xpi because it's not available on GitHub...........

Not sure to understand well (you talk about firefox github extension not signed), but i grab extension via chromewebstore (sometimes several days after github publication) like that (for ubol) : hxxps://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx?response=redirect&acceptformat=crx2,crx3&prodversion=144.0.7559.167&x=id%3Dddkjiahejlhfcafbddmgiahcphecmpfh%26installsource%3Dondemand%26uc

I would like to give an example using a well-known forum:

Where I have placed the red arrow, that is a third-party frame, obviously harmless.
I added a specific exception for that website in uBoL.

If tomorrow I encountered a third-party discord frame on another website, it would be automatically blocked by uBoL.

The same would apply to any malicious third-party frame.

It is very easy to implement this prevention measure in your ad blockers as well:

Working fine on YT here without additional filter lists; only few seconds delay in launch of video.

Thank you, I will try that.


EDIT: Well, only using the standard filter lists on YouTube does indeed allow me to watch videos again. But I am not happy about it.

Well, I just did some tests, and it turns out that I raised the alarm bell too soon. There is one specific list in uBoL that causes the "the content is not available ... try again later" screen.

In my short test it seems that uBlock filters - Esperimental causes that message to show, with the others YouTube works as intended. And NO I do not use all of the list you see active in that picture. :)

No language specific, none of the "Diversen" section, and also not "Block Outsider Intrusion."

I missed something; if you are logged in YouTube, try to log out and deleting YT cookies, then try playing the video again.
