Online Armor was good combo for me, I'm not using it since it was announced that it wont be developed any more. I have updated my configuration in meantime.

As far as MCShield is concerned it has done wonders for me, kept me from ... let's just say that older members of my family and other relatives plus some of the friends don't spread malware around anymore.
