@danb As there is no thread for WhitelistCloud standalone afaik, I wanted to ask when we can expect the Smart and Full Scan option?

We might add this at some point, but please keep in mind that WLC does not detect malware, it detects Safe files, so there will be a lot of "False Positives", even though they are really not FP's... they are just files that we cannot prove to be safe. Thank you!

Here are the latest versions of our software. There were several minor changes and they should be perfectly stable. We will release these new versions to the public in about a week.
The only thing to watch out for is that there might be a couple of extra command line blocks, and if there are please let me know.

Is there a way to submit data to voodooshield to help increase its whitelist list without installing the product?
Like other companies have dedicated pages to submit samples , false positives etc and have verdicts

Updated to 7.8.1 without issue. Got the prompt after a reboot.

Is anyone else having some severe issues with 7.81? 7.80 might be affected too, since I updated from 7.79. Every since I upgraded, Cyberlock lost my settings and refuses to remember them after I change them back, the UI is completely no responsive, and it doesn't seem like it even does anything since nothing seems to be scanned/checked upon launch. Reverting back to 7.79 fixed everything and it runs perfect.

No issues with it at my end. I did reset whitelist as mine was over 900 and installed as an update rather than fresh install but no problems with it here.

I have had that issue a few times. The fix is to log into your CL/VS online account and remove the current device attached to the account.

Do you mean the Web Management Console or logging into the CL/VS website? I tried to log into the Web Management Console and I apparently lost or don't remember my password. I can't figure out how to reset my password on the Web Management Console.

Thank you and thanks to oldschool. I was able to get into the Web Management Console and remembered my password. However, it takes you to the same place that you can access by going to the Voodooshield/Cyberlock website.

Hey Guys!
Happy Thanksgiving! Here is the latest version of CyberLock. There were TONS of changes under the hood so there might be a bug or two that we have to fix, and if so, please let me know. It should be perfectly stable but if you are running on a production machine, you might want to skip this version for now.
One of the changes is that we removed the local VoodooAi and it is now cloud based. We did this for several reasons. First, CyberLock is even quicker and more responsive than before. And since we have to query the database for the WLC result anyway, I just combined this query with the VoodooAi query, so we are kind of killing two birds with one stone. The other advantage is that we do not have to install all of the ML.NET dependencies. The only disadvantage is that VoodooAi will no longer work for Offline mode or if the internet is not working properly. But I realized that the user really needs both the WLC and VoodooAi result to make an informed decision, so ultimately it all worked out really well.
You can install over the top, but you might want to uninstall CyberLock, and click NO when it asks if you want to delete the Settings and Logs. You can then install 7.82beta, and all of the ML.NET dependencies will be removed.

Downloading 7.82 beta now, Happy Thanksgiving!!

uninstalled 7.81 but kept my logs etc, I considered resetting whitelist but got a pop "are you sure" it has 522 files, so I left it at 522 for now, installed 7.82 beta, no installation issues seen, right-click scan of a .exe -- very fast here no issues seen.

Like done on samples in this non profit scanner Threat Insights Portal
Basically you have clean , unrated , malicious and it's pretty accurate and can help online users reduce false positives
As the main con of cyberlock is it doesn't have a big database of safe files to have low false positives
So basically you have Kaspersky intelligence plus voodooshield ML, whitelisted
There is no captcha for opentip so you could automate it (not sure if it breaks tos as I haven't checked them ) or contact Kaspersky to have some licensing for it

This would be a great addition if @danb could swing it. I can't quite make out the technical details of what's possible for free vs. premium.
