Any cyclists around? I mean, one needn't feel like a dweeb while wearing it as it's not really helmet-like until it's deployed. One user who had tested it reported feeling that it felt "heavy" and sweating on hot days would be problematic.
The various kinds cost 360 euros/372 USD plus any tax and shipping. A typical helmet costs generally 50-120 USD/48-116 euro.
My hesitation would be in worrying if it's like a bad parachute and would fail to open when it's "situation-critical."
