Advice Request What Are Your Prefered Second Opinion Malware Scanner/Scanners?

Hi, Folks.
What Second opinion malware scanners have you on your system?
I have Norton Power Eraser+Emsisoft Emergency Kit & HitmanPro.

Second opinion would be from ESET Online Scanner. Best in class and completely free.

I use Windows Repair Toolkit so I have a variety on my computer, but I like HitmanPro and Norton Power Eraser.

Emsisoft Emergency Kit. I don't feel the need to use anything else, because I never get infected.

I use Emsisoft Emergency Kit, Avira PC Cleaner and Eset Online Scanner. Probably too much but it's something for a peace of mind. And also scans are fast...

ESET, then Emsisoft and Malwarebytes. ESET is my go to, but I rarely run any of them. My paranoia has faded to almost nothing. Just slightly more cautious than average, and read the security news without panic.

I would be more worried if I shared my computer with anyone else.

Windows itself also run every month their own second opinion scanner which is called MRT.exe

If the system is also compromised, a second opinion scanner wouldn't work - if the malware is not from a script kiddy. Only live medium scanner works as real second opinion, which works without active running OS

You should probably start watch MTs Malware Hub. SOS is key tools after very serious infections and those samples are Not script kiddy shares.

for a second opinion, I use Eset Online Scaner and Emsisoft Emergency Kit.

I use HitManPro.Alert & scan with it occasionally, it's never found anything though in the maybe 5 years I've had it ?

I do not use second opinion scanners. If something is accepted by SmartScreen then I simply allow it (EXE, MSI installers). If not, then I wait one day (or more if the file is very suspicious) and rely on WD BAFS detection (forced by RunBySmartscreen). I do not run scripts or other files if I do not understand what they do.

Rarely, I inspect the file via online services (like Hybrid-analysis or Any.Run + VirusTotal) and sometimes also in a virtualized environment (free VPN + ShadowDefender + H_C or WD Application Control in Audit mode).
In most cases, the malware can be recognized just by looking at the Mitre Matrix :
