My top default settings I always change:

Windows:
1.Disable Fast startup
2.Increase mouse speed a bit using this guide: How to change your mouse cursor speed on Windows 10

4. Show File Extensions: How to show or hide file extensions in Windows 10
5.Make taskbar smaller in Windows 10.
6.Set "combine taskbar" buttons to Never.
