What movie are you watching or planning to watch?

I found the Apple TV+ TV show Liaison (Season 1) by accident, I never saw any commercials for it, and no one I am subscribed to have mentioned it; it currently has a lower review score than I would expect.

I have seen three episodes so far, so far so good; it seems higher quality than expected so far, Eva Green is good as usual, she is the reason I started watching it when I saw her on the cover image.

I am not sure why the reviews are currently low, maybe I will see once the show is over, since it is still ongoing.

My brother GC and I are the only people I know who saw the 2017 movie Good Time, we did not know about it until someone on YouTube mentioned it & recommended it, it was better than we had expected; it had Robert Pattinson like you never seen him before, and it was basically a crime thriller drama with a little comedy.

I am liking it so far, but episode 4 was my least favorite episode so far; I saw that episode on Friday, I think.

Episode 4 (Carnage) was mostly in French, it was conversation heavy and I had no subtitles when I watched it, so that probably had a negative impact.

I agree, @Trident, It seems that we are both liking it more than the critics so far.

Seeing Eva Green on the cover is what got me started watching it, I have liked her in everything that I have seen her in so far.

It is good to see her in a TV show again, especially with her getting to use her native French along with English, I like her English accent / voice.

It is amazing how she went from barely being able to speak English with a heavy French accent to speaking English better than me after she trained with a voice coach to prepare for Casino Royale; I think, I could be wrong, there was an early interview on YouTube of how she used to speak English, but I can not find it.

The last TV show that I saw Eva Green in was Penny Dreadful, which I also liked, though it had issues as the seasons went on.

I also really liked Penny Dreadful. Eva Green was exceptional. I heard they stopped production because it was too expensive to produce.

My brother GC and I watched it, once again, no one else we know even heard of it, let alone saw it.

It was not really Penny Dreadful in our opinion & it was not as good as Penny Dreadful, but it was watchable; but there were a lot of unanswered questions, and there has not been another season so far.

I did watch (Penny Dreadful) City of Angels, I liked it! but I liked the original better. I don't recall if it left me with unanswered questions...?? :unsure:
