What's for Dinner?

Going to make "blanquette de veaux" for diner. Just bought some nice Irish veal and a good bottle of Italian Pinot Grigio. Sun is shining in the Netherlands and put the garden furniture on the deck. Happy wife is happy life :-)

I use this for cooking. Demeyere Industry Cookware (y) It's the industry standard and quite good. ;)
I have 3 cooking pans, 1 sauce pan, an asparagus pot and 2 frying pans from this brand :-) (y) (and 2 Creuset stew pans).

I have the pan set for maybe 20 years. I replaced the frying pans for PFAS-free version 2 years ago.

EDIT: when I recall well the Demeyer pan-set (3 cooking pans and souce pan) came with an incredible warranty (30 years). I bought the pan set of a cooking shop which stopped business and offered the Demeyer pro-series with 40% discount. The asparagus pot and the two frying pans are form a less expensive Demeyer product range.

Also great cooking ware: good knives

I have a chefs knive from Wusthof, this is also an oldie (20 years or so) with the old fashioned slightly bend stainless steel handle.
I really like the shape of the handle which counters the weight of the (razor sharp) blade.

I use a smaller Global for meat/fish cleaning and cutting (like the grip of the handle for precise tasks).
