I've been fortunate enough to not encounter any issues with registry cleaners since my Windows 7 days. It's essential to note that individual experiences may differ, and what works for one person may not work for another.

Among the registry cleaners I've used regularly, I've had no negative experiences with Wise, HiBit, and CCleaner.
Registry cleaners aren't needed unless you're some special snowflake with an extremely specific issue. In fact they tend to do more harm than good.

I also use Hibit Uninstaller and I am also satisfied with this program and it is free.
I don't trust programs like Iobit, I don't know why but I don't trust Chinese applications.

Out of topic, is there a safe registry cleaner you recommend?
There's often no need to ever clean the registry. It's exceptionally rare for so called registry errors to cause issues and even rarer for them to be making your computer run slower.
If you do want to clean the registry, The free version of JCleaner and the registry cleaner in HiBit Uninstaller are safe to use. The paid version of JCleaner has a Deep Scan option that should be used with care. Deep scanning is not available in the free version. I don't recommend Vit Registry Fix, which is an older cleaning app from the author of JCleaner, as it has very minor issues with false positives. There are a few other registry cleaners that are safe to use. But, the vast majority of registry cleaners will sometimes want to delete valid registry keys, so are best avoided.

Hibit in my experience is the best some Iranian programs are really good. another one is neat download manager, the guy created a download manager for his own use on Mac and ported it to Windows in native C++, shared it for free. it's just 1 megabyte! with a potent download engine, a well-written code. Iranians tend to have high rankings in programming competitions and stuff like that that's why you see just one man creating something like Hibit or neat download manager with some quality coding.

It's fast, and the developer has fixed bugs fast, doesn't force reboot. Multiple versions of software won't cause issues, won't remove all of them, only the specific version. So for those still afraid, they don't need to be.

If you check what it cleans, then it's not an issue. but yes, not checking and just relying on the software, and cleaning random stuff, isn't a good idea. but Hibit, cleans what's related to the software you are uninstalling, so just check it's correct, but it's different to Ccleaner doing registry cleaning, as it scans for uninstalled software. But mistakes can happen so check.
So far no issues for me.
