You want to say Quick Heal offer better protection than K7 ??
eScan : Top protection (their engine + Bitdefender), a very complete product, very pretty but very heavy...
K7 : A very good protection, solid HIPS, an excellent web protection, a nice interface and very light.
QuickHeal : The most beautiful interface of the Indian AV, good defense but average database.
If you have an excellent PC, I would recommend eScan.
But if you want a user friendly, standalone and light antivirus, my choice goes to K7

It's pretty light too, however I'm afraid your configuration won't be enough :/

K7 will run very well on your computer as it is extremely light. In terms of system impact it is comparable to ESET, if not even lighter. ESET provides better protection, but K7 is decent.
I was going to give K7 a try last night having used it a while ago - Unfortunately they don't take PayPal & can't find a trial & as I don't have a throw away card I don't like giving companies a valid card They can use in future whereas PayPal I can block.
@Sorrento They have a big green "free trial" button at the top right of the page. Just need a random mobile number and trash e-mail.

If you click on Activate you will see the option to activate a trial license.
I have been using k7 for several months and I am very satisfied, very light, powerful and no false positives.

I tried K7 and it was really light on system resources. Support is fast and competent. The only thing I did not like about it was their interface.
