QuickHeal is great in terms of protection and safety and k7 is also good but costly.

If you don't have a budget issue then go for k7 otherwise quickheal is best.

K7 is one of very very few indian vendors that have & use their own technologies, own threat lab (HQ @ Chennai) , excellent R&D, own engine & good signatures. Cons do exist, but overall would be great to use >>>>> Quick heal.

Escan use their own technologies, along side Bitdefender. Major (almost)static detections come from BD. Proactive engines are built upon their inhouse tech. However I suspect (does use Bitdefender behavior engine along side it's own + inhouse ransomware remediation engine) * . Protection is TOP NOTCH. >> K7

Quickheal : Their TS version is a Bitdefender remapped. Their other AV versions use own engine ( lot weaker in signatures), their inhouse BB does a lot, a of lot heavy duty. I do suspect their products also use Bitdefender BB alongside their own << K7<<Escan

They stopped using Bitdefender signatures a few years ago.

If I were you, I would use K7. It is very light. Products that use BD signatures tend to consume more ram and might cause slowdowns down the road.

I was going to give K7 a try last night having used it a while ago - Unfortunately they don't take PayPal & can't find a trial & as I don't have a throw away card I don't like giving companies a valid card They can use in future whereas PayPal I can block.

Contact Sales / support, they sent me a Paypal link on request, as I was about buy the Infinity version, but do not have a CC.
Worked very well.
